Save products to your shopping list from your sofa

Never forget anything again—simply use voice control to save the desired or outgoing products to the Buyrocks app shopping list.
Take advantage of modern technology and make your everyday life easier.
Certainly possible, but who walks around the supermarket with their cell phone in their hand the entire time? No one, because it's impractical.

Smart home control between refrigerator and Buyrocks

Many refrigerators are already connected to smartphones via smart home controls. But why not connect them to the Buyrocks app, which leaves your hands free while shopping?

In the future, special offers will also be taken into account, possibly even tailored to you personally by supermarkets or discount stores.

Delivery of advertising directly to the display

Your cell phone can do that too. No, not quite. At home, when ordering, the display is considerably larger. In the supermarket, where it is permanently mounted on the Buyrocks, you don't have to hold it in your hand all the time.
Advertising is everywhere. The delivery of printed advertising could be significantly reduced by sending the advertising message directly to the display.
A lot of advertising brochures end up straight in the trash without even being read. And even those that are read suffer the same fate, with the reference to recycled paper only helping environmental protection to a limited extent.
You only call up the advertisements that interest you on the display, because, for example, you are only going to supermarkets A and B today.

You also have the option of planning your entire weekly shopping and assigning it to the respective supermarket on the shopping list.

Preparation of modern purchasing and procurement

By stocking Buyrock, you can make an important contribution to sustainability. Your commitment will become apparent as this sample purchase progresses.
At home, the Buyrocks is loaded with empty containers, a cooler box, refill containers, a warming box, fruit and vegetable dividers, etc., and the display is locked into place.
Even heavy loads, such as empty glass bottles, can be easily placed in the trunk.

Arrival at the supermarket

Advertising by the car manufacturer on shopping carts shows which car manufacturer has recognized the importance of sustainability and environmental protection.
Once you arrive at the supermarket, simply roll your personal shopping assistant out of the trunk. You can start shopping right away without having to search for a chip or a 1-euro coin. There's no need to pick it up or return it later either.
With your own shopping cart, you naturally have a significantly higher standard of hygiene that meets your own expectations.
Time saving
The Buyrocks automatically adjusts to your preferred height.

The industry, or manufacturers, can now produce more environmentally friendly packaging regardless of size and weight, e.g., returning to glass or cardboard/paper.
Supermarkets have a keen interest in space-saving and lightweight packaging for their products. Their aim is to enable you to buy and carry as much as possible.
However, this aspect often conflicts with sustainable packaging, which is usually heavier and takes up more space. The Buyrocks offers a solution with the same external dimensions but considerably more volume thanks to its straight shapes. After all, shopping carts at the supermarket have to fit inside each other, and weight is no longer a problem.
Incidentally, the car is an important aid in ensuring that sustainability requirements are met. Cars do not always have to be the bogeyman with their CO2 emissions; they can also make a contribution to the environment.
The supermarket is certainly delighted with the new opportunities offered by the customer's own shopping cart.
The production of plastic requires a great deal of energy, which is why a very large proportion of oil and gas is needed by the chemical industry.

Mutual assistance and basic requirements

In today's world, environmental protection is particularly important. A potential reduction of up to 50% in packaging waste is quite a significant figure.

Time savings, as there is no need to walk back and forth, which is also important in times of COVID-19.
When you enter the supermarket, the app recognizes it. The shopping list opens and arranges the items according to the distance from this branch.
This is very convenient, as it eliminates the impractical use of a cell phone or shopping list.
By scanning the goods as you place them inside, you can keep track of your expenses.
Individual items can be displayed on the screen, making them easier to find on the shelf. This is helpful for new packaging or products that were previously unknown.
The supermarket has the option of personalized advertising, e.g., the cheese you always buy from us is currently on sale for $1.99.

Entering the supermarket

The heavy loads can be brought into the apartment without any effort.
When it comes to empties, the question of all questions is: plastic or glass? Nature has already decided: glass. However, glass is heavier. With Buyrocks, it is possible to transport heavy weights. This can also be a great help for older and disabled people.
Our chosen image needs no explanation; weight is no longer an excuse.
By scanning the empty bottle receipt at the machine, there is no longer any need to print paper.

From plastic bottles back to glass bottles

Sustainable shopping at the sausage and meat counter

Here, too, the use of plastic bags is no longer necessary. It may also be possible to reduce the use of sausage and meat paper. Perhaps these arguments will convince you to switch away from goods that are already shrink-wrapped and packaged in plastic and back to the fresh food counter.
Place the goods purchased at the butcher's counter directly into the Buyrock cooler (approx. +- 0°C to + 2°C) and scan the price as you would for fruit and vegetables. The cold chain remains intact from the supermarket to your home.
The car not only helps to bring the goods home safely, but also actively participates in the cold chain.
Thanks to the continuous cold chain, fewer germs/pathogens form and the products stay fresh and keep longer.
The label is also saved again, along with the printer and ink.

This also highlights the difference compared to shopping with a cell phone. You hold the cell phone in one hand, the plastic bag in the other, and use your third hand to put the fruit in the bag. Did you spot the mistake?
Grapes, apples, and pears are just a few examples of the wide range of fruits and vegetables available. Many of these items can be placed directly into the fruit compartment of the Buyrock after being weighed (or alternatively, after entering the number of items) and scanned at the scale.
No one wants to put fresh fruit unpackaged in a shopping cart at the supermarket, or later on the checkout conveyor belt. With your own Buyrocks and the price already scanned, it's a different story.
A plastic bag, no matter how thin, is now superfluous.
Scanning the price at the scale also eliminates the need for adhesive labels.

No plastic bags and no price tags in the fruit section

Special feature at the fish and cheese counter

By participating in the cold chain, the car journey can also be planned differently. It is no longer necessary to rush home and then store the goods. Other tasks can be completed, which means that you don't have to make another trip.
Unlike sausage and meat, fish requires lower temperatures of approx. +- 0°C to minus 2°C, while cheese prefers temperatures of approx. +5°C to +8°C. Of course, the temperature of the cool box can be adjusted, and it is also possible to use several cool boxes at the same time.
Sensitive fish in particular stay fresh and keep longer thanks to the continuous cold chain.
Here, too, the use of plastic bags and adhesive labels is no longer necessary. And here, too, the use of cheese and fish paper could possibly be reduced. The arguments for switching to a fresh food counter also apply here.

Kitchen towels, tissues, and toilet paper without plastic packaging

The quick automatic loading process is one of Buyrock's great strengths, especially when it rains. No hasty reloading, no returning the shopping cart.
Many paper products are protected with plastic packaging. The main purpose of this is, of course, to protect the product from rain. There is no other explanation for why even school notebooks and books are shrink-wrapped in plastic, even though they are opened immediately at home and the plastic is thrown away.
The Buyrocks has a rain cover, which means that shopping can be transported home dry. Packaging made from alternative materials such as recycled paper now also makes sense.
Nevertheless, environmental protection will only be successful in the long term if it is possible for each and every one of us to do so without additional effort. And this “laziness” is now helping our environment.

Reduction of plastic content through transport security

At the same time, the firmly locked Buyrocks with transport security for the purchased goods also increases traffic safety.
Of course, the food is well protected against damage during transport. You know the problem with carrier bags. Heavy or sharp-edged items press down on lighter and thinner packaging and damage it. And no one wants to have a leaking yogurt in their bag. The flexible transport protection in Buyrocks solves this problem and keeps the goods secure even during car journeys.
The food industry is now able to produce thinner packaging, as ensuring that goods arrive undamaged from the supermarket to the consumer's home is a high priority. Only when this is guaranteed can the industry strive for new packaging solutions. Removing the unnecessary plastic lid from yogurt pots would be a start.
For many products, a return to returnable glass bottles is conceivable. After all, weight is no longer an issue.

Refill system for soap, shampoo, etc. for the future

You think that's complicated. The barcode on the empty packaging allows it to be filled automatically, and changing to a different flavor, for example, would be possible using a keypad.
Refill bags are already available, but these refill bags are also waste. A more environmentally friendly method would be to simply refill empty shampoo bottles at the supermarket. Before shopping, take the Buyrocks inserts from the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room and place them in the Buyrocks. The collected empty packaging is then with you when you go shopping. This may sound very futuristic to you, but the cafeteria has had a coffee refill system with different flavors for many years.
There is huge potential here for environmental protection and sustainability when you consider all the possibilities in the refill sector. Detergent, liquid soap, bubble bath, shampoo, cosmetics, cleaning products, and much more.
Refill packs are already cheaper today, so how much cheaper will they be now that no packaging is required?
